This 812 looks stunning...very well done. Can't wait to see the May 5th videos and photo's of it.
Seems high downforce was the main target and extra power maybe used to maintain the same top speed of the 812SF:
In the minority I guess, but I dont like the looks. Certainly better than the standard 812 though. Here’s hoping it is like a fine wine.
I love it, all those subtle differences are what separates a great car like the 458 from the Speciale; the regular fantastic 812 from this VS,... and I am all in for it. I´ve been lucky to have been "awarded" one, and I´m very happy for it. Open points for me are: - sound: will they have improved the good GTS (GPF)? - price: ? - Holding value: we all know TDF is great on that department, but of this one they are making double units than TDF, and starting price might be higher. Congrats Ferrari, on the car and the excitement leading to the 5th!!
Well, I've put around 1500 miles on my 812 GTS and it's frankly the best F car I've ever owned. I'm not lucky enough to be on the list for this thing but if I had to sum up it up in one word I'd say 'Serious'. And another thing I think most of us have probably found with cars is they (almost always) look even better in the metal than photos so whoever is lucky enough to end up with one of these things in the flesh will find it hard to drag themselves away from their garage. What a thing.
Do we have any accurate ideas on the colour of the car released to the media today? I am thinking potentially either Grigio Titanio or Grigio Alloy (seems too dark for that). Would love to hear your thoughts! Image Unavailable, Please Login

Image Unavailable, Please Login Interesting the rear inlets look like outlets on this picture. Image Unavailable, Please Login But they are clearly inlets on this picture and the real life pictures.
You made my day That was my reaction too. This angle and this light don’t help. But I’m sure other lights and colors, adding a registration plate, will help to make this back better.
Ahahah I have the impression to read myself when I'm angry against something. Making exaggerated comparisons
They are neither inlets nor outlets. They are just depressions with upstanding wicker bills which are actually vortex generators due to their angle to the flow.
At the rear I can imagine independently actuated steering but at the front with a rack? Sounds like Mercedes F1’s DAS from last year.
Personally if I had to choose a configuration, I would hesitate between two: - "Pure metal silver" with a blue stripe to the end of the front spoiler, and without black stiching on the side of the stripe + full black interior and just the two racing seats "jeans aunde blue". - "Rosso Dino" with a full black interior, without stripe.
They should really create an XX version of this car to finish the 812 family off, would be a beautiful send off. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Hmmm...It looks like it says “812 Competitizione” I’m positive I didn’t spell that right... Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat
Agreed. You heard it here first! 812 Competizione! I love the design (with regular tires), I don't care if I'm in the minority. Sent from my SM-N975U using Tapatalk
