Good Day Ferrari 360 Participants: It is with a very heavy heart that I share with you the passing of albkid. He enjoyed his time on this forum and having the opportunity to share the joys and sometime frustrations of owning and working on a 360. The work he did on the car was supported generously by members offering research and product information as he restored his car, the Bullet. He valued all the friendships he made on this forum from around the world. He passed quietly at home, surrounded by his family. As his wife, I picked up the keys to Bullet, handed them to his youngest brother and asked him to start up the car, rev the engine, (once warmed up properly of course) and blast the horn. I wanted to be sure the powers of nature knew albkid was joining them in a new way. I've attached below a photo of albkid in Bullet I sincerely apologize if this is not the proper format to let you all know. It was important to me to extend the joy you all provided to albkid in his final years. God bless you all Image Unavailable, Please Login
So sorry for your loss. Glad we were here to bring some joy into your husband's life. Ferraris will do that to you. An 8 cylinder salute is most appropriate, great that you did that. Dave M.
Sincere condolences to your family. May he rest peacefully in God's embrace. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Deepest condolences. It must have been hard for you to write that message, and very thoughtful of you to do so.
