    Hi, urgent help needed. Just been out with the wife for lunch. Stopped on the way home and it won’t engage the starter motor regardless of what I do? The pump sounds when I open the driver’s door, but that’s it!

    Do the headlight shine bright, does the inside light dip when you hit the start.
    What is the alarm/immobilizer setup, that might stop the starter engaging

    Update, brake pedal switch faulty. A good hard press enabled me to select neutral and fire it up!

    Glad you got it figured out.
    I have seen the deck lid switch cause issues in the past as well
