No artificial off-throttle burbles... and those downshifts
I was able to do AdP and the contrast package. TBH I do not know if the calipers are the standard orange offering or not. The external CF can be ordered but those orders are delayed, thus my jump in line. Ironically, my STO may arrive a mere month or two after those who ordered a year ago. But.......I’ll take it.
Based on the video above at the Ring, I placed a call today to see if my cancelled order can be revived. LOL.
I ended up disregarding both options as well. I went with balloon white and figure I can get my ppf guys to wrap the accents in blue if I want down the line. I wonder if it’s just me but, I like the stock wheels with aluminum color and went with matching aluminum calipers. Kept the shiny inside and went with sports seats with blue accents.
Now, I just have to decide whether to keep my EVO and sell it when I get the new car or now. I’m out of garage space again. Wife has been very good about it, but....quality problems lol.
I may be back in the STO game...I didn't cancel my spot. I can spec it next week. In this weird inflation world...who knows. An STO could be depreciation-free fun.
Maybe he didn’t like the exhaust sound?!? There appears to be a pattern here. He Bought the Pista and Immediately sold it. I guess maybe if he flipped them for a quick profit that would be some justification otherwise I can’t see buying 2 track focused cars, not being happy with them and selling them right away. But to each their own.
Dustman please elaborate why you're not happy with it. I know the Pista sound sucks so that was pretty obvious you would get out of that one but is the 765 as bad in the sound department from your pov?
I’m thinking flipper. Why in the world would you buy a car and not like the sound and sell it right away? Again, I don’t necessarily have a problem with a flipper as it’s a open market for people to make a profit when they can.
Good to hear from you, been a while. I’m in a phase where I try many and keep the ones I love. There’s no downside, and it’s fun to spec, build, and the people interactions are enjoyable since we are car enthusiasts.
So.......the obvious question.......of all the cars you’ve swapped, are any of these keepers? Or is this just a silly, futile, crack-high chasing game we play?
