Wow, what a qualifying session that was. Quite entertaining.

Too bad for those who crashed, this track is so unforgiving. Track limits are just that.

Congrats to Charles for doing it again, amazing job and great work for once by the pit wall to position him perfectly for his tow assisted lap. Nice teamwork.

Amazed at Alpha Tauri, those cars were rockets. Didn't expect that at all. As for Haas, why are they even traveling to the races?

Looking forward to the race with this mixed field.

 

Charles said the pole was on a Zhit lap, but he said his red flagged lap was better. Ok, so he got the tow but so did others. Amazing.
Thinking Gas will be offered something by a better team soon....he’s got his footing now. He’s been a quiet standout.

So it looks like bottas dutifully gave Lewis a massive tow all around the lap and was supposed to get it back on 2nd run, but team sends him out first again. That team shots on him every time they can.

Max on tbr other hand, already down in 3rd, had tow from perez first and was giving it back on 2nd run! Big contrast....

 

+1 more of the same for Bottas. Mercedes power to the fore.

The team everyone loves to blast as being unsporting and not treating its drivers fairly, Ferrari, is the only team with two cars in Q3 to not engineer a tow and sacrifice one of their drivers.

 

Please explain how saying ''I messed up with a stupid strategy call" is whining, or come up with evidence that a driver that has said similar and it was called whining?

 

I don’t know what’s happening at Mercedes but they are seemingly the #3 fastest car here.
Astonishing change. I thought it was Red Bull first then Mercedes slightly came back and be better but now all of a sudden looks like they are 3.
I think max or Charles win it tomorrow... all about damage control for Mercedes it seems till they get better...if I’m right on performance let’s see what Lewis is made of...
Could bottas also be fired mid season for russel?! Crazy to think that!

In the post qualy interview he said this was a stupid qualifying and !@# happening everywhere and a less forgiving track. Can you come up with evidence that he used such language when qualifying on pole?

 

What’s Russell going to provide that bottas can’t? I doubt Russell will be able to drive to provide any help, but alas rusellton to the rescue

No, they are not, the Merc was faster than the Ferrari, the diference is the piece behind the wheel...

 

I think if he can get into the lead he can control, the Ferrari has good low speed traction and rides the kerbs well. A bit more poke and it would be a good car.

Problem with Ferrari will be tyre wear, i suspect they won't use the medium....
