I can confirm order books are still open. I’m about to place an order. Quietly hoping that GTS number will not exceed 3000
If Ferrari built 5000 SF in 3 years (2017-2020) they will produce exactly one GTS less than demanded - that's why order books are not closed yet. Two production years are sold already let's see if Ferrari go for a third year of GTS production... At least the GTS is not a limited car Sent from my SM-G981B using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I’ve been told delivery within a year if ordered now… previous estimates have been over estimates so I’d expect in 10 months or so. This is in the UK.
My dealere said they could sell 3x the amount of GTS's they have been offered by the factory. Still waiting on mine (including 2 of my buddies) which is now probably due Spring 2022....
My order was pushed from last month which tells me you might still be able to get one. They are apparently behind in production with these and the SF90s.
Congrats on the GTS. I missed the fact that you punched an order for one. What spec did you settle on?
I went with Titanio paint and Bordeaux interior, carbon interior and race seats. Some other bits as well. Decided on the std wheels as I will have a custom set made by Forgeline. I am getting a bit annoyed that its taking so long, at this point its likely to be December delivery or early 22'.
My dealer has said, he has been told to get their last 7 allocations in as they will be finishing production of the GTS next year at some point. He said with all the ordered cars counted for, they will have sold just under half the amount of GTS, compaired to the Superfast’s they sold. Going by what Marcel said, 5000 superfasts roughly made then very roughly if all dealers are the same, 2500 ish 812 GTS will be made? I have confirmed my order for spring next year, and I am hoping Ferrari manage to do some great events for the 75th aniversary next year, like they did for the 70th. Another much larger dealer told me last week they can still order one or so he thought! I am UK based.
Likewise I got a call yesterday to say they are taking last orders for the GTS. All will be finished by end of 2022. I’m also UK based.
For us (USA) all orders are in, unless someone has canceled there are no more allocations. Total production number per 2 US dealerships 1500-2000. So probably more like 2500.
Yes, all orders finished by end 2022…is what I was told recently. ie 6 more months to place an order here, then I’d guess end 2023 maybe even early 2024 for last deliveries. Ferrari, like others, is behind with new model launches and production, due to COVID and supply issues, so is stretching out the current range longer than anticipated.
Hope it is enough for me to land on later for a discount if I choose. 2,500 sounds like a healthy quantity.
I just got back from my local dealer. I drove an 812 GTS they just got back in. There is a small possibility I might be able to get an order in for one based on my dealers allocations. Will be working this through the next week to see if it is possible. I absolutely LOVED the car!!!! Having come from 3 prior mid engined Ferraris, I am shocked how nimble the car felt. Fingers crossed.
Always want a fellow fchatter to get a great price on an amazing car but it will be interesting to see on the GTS. Here in the sf Bay Area so few have been delivered…I know 2500 is a large number but my gut says it holds value better than the SF. Both are spectacular but having a coupe/spider in one is hard to beat. Good hunting!
Thanks, I'm 3-4 years out (intend it to be a retirement gift), agree it should hold value compared to the coupe. May have to trade in something if values hold strong, or go in a different direction.
