Thank you, appreciate it! This dial is actually, fairly bright white. The lighting/angle in that pic makes it appear off-white. Thank you! A strap change on certain models looks pretty good, and a nice change for summer.
Need to change the day and date…yes the face and sub dials are in Italian. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Almost wore mine though it is the 11 not the 12 but opted to take the PP Italiano out instead. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
I picked this up because I thought it looked cool. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Very nice. Any word on your Snoopy 3 yet? I'm holding back from buying anything from my Omega Boutique until they deliver that...that seems to only incentivize them to keep delaying it to sell more in the meantime lol.
None! Same with my green faced Daytona. My dealer said it’s really hard to good inventory right now. I’m being patient .
I didn't know Omega made this watch. What a beautiful piece. My 1993 Red Speedmaster is one of my favorite watches.
My dad gave me his Paul Newman Daytona (from about 2004-2005 or so as I recall). I need to have it cleaned. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Absolutely beautiful watch. Love the gold. If I can offer some unsolicited advise imho Don’t let them clean it unless it’s by an expert. These watches will become more valuable over time but when they get polished, it takes away from the collectibility of the watch and can damage it. Even people who “know “ what they’re doing, mess this up. If it were me, I’d leave it as is and enjoy this modern classic.
That’s a great piece and headed towards classic. If you need a recommendation for an outstanding CW21 certified Rolex watchmaker, contact Phillip Ridley. https://ridleywatchmakers.com/ He is very well known in vintage Rolex circles and has worked on many Daytona’s and other Rolexes for me over the years. Regardless, I do not recommend sending it to Rolex for service.
Wearing an Omega Speedmaster 125 today. Released in 1973 to celebrate the company’s 125th anniversary, it is one of the biggest and most ostentatious Speedmasters ever produced (and possibly also one of the most misunderstood). And it went into space, too (with the Soviets, early in the 80's)... Image Unavailable, Please Login

I don't really wear the Daytonas. They are more investment pieces. The Deepsea, however, is one that I have a personal connection with. I served 28 years in Navy Special Operations and one of my qualifications was as a "Deepsea"" Saturation Diver (hence my screen name), and in 1994 I actually took part in a 1,000 foot saturation dive that lasted for 22 days.
Yes. Phillip trained and worked with his father for many years. Bob is one of the best but has paired back his work schedule. Phillip moved to Arizona and works independently now. Can’t go wrong with either Bob or Phillip.
Thanks! I really want one of the Everose Gold ones next. I'm thinking either the one with the chocolate dial or the dial in pink. Thoughts? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Lol, the RIGHT one! That's what makes a horserace! Honestly, either is beautiful, but I do prefer the stick hour markers and the dial color of the right one.
