I actually think it is OEM. Every other carbon bit on that Spider is indeed OEM carbon. The carbon weave is correct. 3K Plain weave pattern. The pocket in the front is a removable attachment piece and I have seen it several times before. Spiders might have a different carbon center console where the design is slightly different to accommodate the rear switches. The one you have is for a Coupe. I believe you got that through 355dreamer correct? Pretty sure that's the one I sold to him. Hang onto it as a genuine Ferrari center console is difficult to come by outside of a car . You might be right Ken. That pocket would be a nice feature, to be honest. And you're right in terms of where I bought it. It's installed in my 355 now so it's not going anywhere
I actually think the pocket alters the look of the center console to something a bit more fussy than needed. Cool to have. Always removable and sellable if someone is annoyed by the carbon. I'm willing to offer someone $3k + my black leather-covered E-brake cover for their carbon fiber E-brake cover.

That's a nice 993 Turbo. F355's to follow shortly I'm all for 993's going up if that helps drag 355 valuations with it.
BAT.. 28k views. $250k Pcar ... 15k views. $230k. https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1996-porsche-911-turbo-8/ BAT more magic sauce than Pcar? Far-fetched to believe BAT can command a 5-10% higher premium than Pcar?
Green leather hurt the white car. Cool, but black would have brought more, at least maybe a bigger battle at the end. BaT is definitely stronger than Pcar. Two reds or two whites listed at both sites with comparable mileage would be the only way to measure with more accuracy. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I think maybe less people would like the white/cedar than blue/tan. (though I would take the white one myself)
Auction timing would need to be within a month too. What about this spec? It’s got your favorite primer gray leather . https://www.pcarmarket.com/auction/1996-porsche-911-turbo-9/
I'm not surprised! The car was being sold by a friend of the owner...I don't think they really knew much about the car. I guess I dodged a bullet there. I was prepared to pay $110k CAD.
I offered 80k. Super low i know but compared to what we can get in europe that car was a dog. I feel bad for new owner if he got caught up in 355 hype and doesn't realize what's in store for him Sent from my SM-G981W using Tapatalk
Uh oh. Can Magnus be convinced to step into the dark side? *PatrickDLiddy is his fellow reviewer and happens to own a 993 Turbo. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Then lets up the ante, Porsche 999 https://www.autoevolution.com/news/porsche-999-project-is-equal-parts-architecture-and-automotive-design-153740.html#
Perhaps a good candidate for a gated conversion. https://www.thebarnmiami.com/vehicles/355/1999-ferrari-f355-gts
Manual conversion discussion is forbidden in the F355 market thread . @kenneyd has performed the conversion. @Targatime appears to be working on his conversion and says parts are near impossible to find. Hopefully, EAG is too busy to care about the 355 to consider an offering. https://bringatrailer.com/2017/03/30/gated-manual-conversion-1999-ferrari-355-berlinetta-f1/ Blackhorse Motorports in L.A performed the conversion on this silver B, which I believe is now owned by the owner of Period Correct Clothing brand in OC. Next time he throws a 355 meet, come check it out.
Yes. I was shocked to see another gated RB GTS much less close to me so I went to check it out a couple weeks ago. Mine is a ‘95 with 27k. This one is very nice with over 40k miles and I think it’s due for a major unless they’ve done it.
I’m looking at the pics on Instagram. Looks very nice. Surprised it has 40k mi. Appears to be looked after well.
