It’s dangerous at these speeds man!’. So what do you call what he did at Silverstone? The hypocrisy is incomprehensible.
I'd love for someone like Max just to say "Get a grip of yourself will you!" If driving a car is taking that much out of you then maybe it's time to hang up the gloves. Just another strange behaviour from him because he knew he had a shocker or the booing has got to him. Well, if you want the fans to stop booing stop acting like a prat!
Give over, sportsmen take stick in sport, it's part of the passion. If he can't handle a few boos now and again he needs to get a grip.
Hamilton had a poor race all race, he was constantly making errors, locking up, going wide and such. He threw away 10 points down the toilet.
So why isn't everyone else stopping three or four times for "super" tires? At best, what we're seeing is that F1 is no longer a race series. They've mutated "qualifying" into "placement". No more 7% rule. There are now several separate classes running on the grid: Merc, RB, Williams/Haas/Alfa, and others. All those rule changes that were supposed to tighten up competition have had the exact opposite effect. Look at the grid. The top three cars a second faster than the rest of the grid. After the chaos, the slow cars pushed everyone 12 seconds down from the two "mid field" class runners up front. It's like watching a race between a Veyron and a Model T. Pointless.
Lewis Hamilton takes the restart as ONLY driver on the grid and still manages to finish THIRD after an epic, heroic drive. He is truly the GOAT! Respect!!!
LOL. The sharp end of the grid eliminated or compromised (including his closest rival handicapped), driving the fastest car out there and still didn’t win. Nice battle with MSC though.
Considering how he looked on the podium and the fact that he is being looked over by med team he did great. He probably felt like cr@p all race. It looked like he was going to fall over on the podium. It looks like the guy can perform even on an "off-day." He maybe super lucky but it takes more than luck to win 7 WDC's and lead in his 8th.
meh. so much of his persona is disingenuous and attention-seeking, the post race displays of fatigue came off as more of the same.
Nothing was stopping people from going out on a run earlier at Monza that time. They were all trying to be cute and pick-up a "tow."
Cos no one else wanted to be near him lol...and that very decision ultimately cost him the victory. Best, Sammy
I was referring to the claim that FChat was anti Hamilton. In my experience it isn’t just FChat, it’s all of F1. Just making an observation. Frankly I don’t give a **** either way if people love him or hate him. I personally don’t like him but I respect him as a driver/champion. He may be a tool but he is a very talented one.
Perhaps. But the bottom line is everybody made themselves look like idiots that day except for maybe three guys who made it through in time.
Over 24 hours now and I'm still waiting for comments on Max's behavior post qualifying. Anybody who is still judging Hamilton's every move but hasn't said a word about Max's post qualifying language and outburst is a hypocrite.
Yes. But how it all started, Lewis doing the exact thing that he complained about earlier, is him being a hypocrite. That's the point.
