    The metal piece at 3 o'clock is mated to the crown. It is part of the bezel locking system. You can turn the bezel unidirectionally, but must first loosen the crown, then tighten it back up when done.

    Actually I have a couple Casio watches but I didn’t have good success with either. So I permanently retired them, in favor of a Seiko which I really beat on and still have although it currently needs a new battery.

    Because of the Daytona craziness, Zenith DeLucas went from being $2500 watches 10 years ago the $7,000 watches today. Zenith Rainbows are now 5k+

    My G-shock has been lost and found multiple times. Unloved then loved again. Its been in my drawer for 15 years or more.

    Had a close look at it, not a single scratch. And I wear it to do the heavy lifting.
