Is there a "Porsche Chat" forum similar to Ferrari Chat ?
I don't think rennlist is all that great, personally. I haven't found another car forum that I like as much as F-Chat. Some of them are okay at first, and then they get sold (I think to the same company?) and end up with more ads on the page than posts.
Because I have a ‘69 911 I spend a lot of time on the Early911Sregistry.org website...it wouldn’t be of much value, however, if you don’t have a long-hood. There’s also the Pelican Parts forum that some people find useful. Alan N.J.
Rennlist has some great contributors. I don’t think it’s quite the same as FChat in terms of familiarity/community, but it is very good.
Depends if your interests are air cooled or water cooled. I like Pelican for air cooled stuff, but we are mostly crochety old men. Water cooled stuff, I was on Rennlist.
I think you are pretty spot on about reenlist. I have been a long time Porsche guy really find the Porsche section on FerrariChat more compelling than threads on rennlist. I also like the format of FerrariChat, easier to use and read IMO.
I feel like I would never go on Rennlist-- or any Porsche forum-- and talk about economics, like I do here. Or Ferraris, for that matter.
