    Participated in a Ferrari Club vs Porsche Club car show at Moorespeed in Austin today and temporarily parked next to this beautiful 275 GTB owned by John Paul DeJoria. It only has 1980 miles on it and is all original. He's owned it for just a short time but intends to drive it. What a gorgeous car. As you can see there was also an F40 and the owner of that also brought his TDF Blue LaFerrari and a 250 GTO NART recreation commissioned by ZZ Top drummer Frank Beard using a 330 GTC donor car. On the Porsche side of the show there was a Carrera GT in an cool shade of red. It was too bad that the other 550's/575's in the Austin/San Antonio area weren't able to make it. It was a great show.

    Such a short time that is still on its UK plates! I'm a little surprised that you can apparently import a vehicle and still drive it around on foreign plates rather than having to re-register it as part of the import process.

    He has it registered, but plates are in the trunk.

    Yes hard to believe but it sat in a museum in Monaco until he bought it.

    That first pic reminds me of a pic I took at a local Ferrari SV event a couple of years back… definitely a family resemblance between the 275s and our 550s.

    I really want to see that...but it's a stretch. I do like both cars though. Own one and covet the other... :)
