Can someone give me an opinion on "The Boulders"? Looking for a nice place for my wife and daughters to get away in mid-March. Must haves are pool, spa and golf. . If not the Boulders, then what might you recommend in AZ? Jim
Can't comment on Boulders, but we really enjoyed Sanctuary > https://www.sanctuaryoncamelback.com/ They don't have golf on site, but several courses very close by > https://www.sanctuaryoncamelback.com/resort/things-to-do/golf/
I have stayed at the Boulders a few years and it was very nice but I believe it was over 5 years ago.
The Boulders is very nice, but there isn't much else up around there. If your wife and daughters are going to be looking to do things off property (shopping, dinners, etc) then I would consider staying closer to Old Town Scottsdale. Sanctuary is very nice. Other solid choices are Royal Palms, JW Marriott Camelback.
Would say staying closer in town is better unless you are there for the golfing. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Checkout the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. Everything you need on site (pools, spa, restaurants, golf etc), plus all of the Scottsdale fun if you want to venture off the compound. It’s the TPC course (Phoenix Open). https://www.scottsdaleprincess.com/
Princesss Sanctuary 4 seasons. W if you are in your in your 20s or think you are in your 20s and want to be part of the seen. Don't stay at the jw Marriott at the desert ridge. It's getting a bit too run down now. Great property just disappointing now. Kierland hotel is another great alternative though. It's not super high end but it's very nice! Killer killer location. You can walk to kierland and to the Scottsdale quarter. 99.9% of places you stay in az require you to drive everywhere. With the weather nice....kierland has a great set up.
