Did I say anything contrary to them making money ?? They're welcome to raise their base price as much as they like but pricing options from Zero to 12k plus is a little ridiculous
Hello. Was that long post with options pricing in USD? Also- what is the cost of the Rosso Imola? I didn't see it listed in the paint color post. Thanks.
My dealer just said there isn’t a change to the standard colors including the metallics that have always been standard. No idea which information is correct but the configurator still has all the same colors listed as standard so he says that is correct. Will be an awful shock to get a $12+ option on the window sticker on arrival…… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Metallic colors are now $12,487 and they fall under Classic Colors. Dealers have pricing and the configurator (which dealers all have access to) shows which colors are considered classic colors as well. What color are you looking to get?
I personally wanted to know if Grigio Scuro and Grigio Medio were now no cost colors as they are flat, but specifically asked about Grigio Titanio (free on my Roma) and TDF Blue and he stated the 2 metallics as a well as all prior standard colors were no cost but was going to get back to me on the Grigio colors. Would you happen to know? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Grigio Titanio and Blu TDF are metallic colors and Ferrari now classifies them as Classic Colors with an option code PNCC and the cost is $12,487. Grigio Scuro is now a no-cost option and its option code is entered as EXTC. Grigio Medio falls under Vintage Paint Colors with an option code of PNTC and the cost is yet to be confirmed on the 296 GTB but I believe it will cost $13,499 - this is the cost of PNTC on the Sf90.
And what about Rosso Mugello? It's on the configurator -- but sometimes when you click on it, you get Imola. Other times, it appears as Rosso Mugello. Would Mugello perhaps be a historical and then premium priced? I'm still about 2+ years away from receipt, but the ideas are churning. BTW, regarding HomeLink, it is now standard on many low-priced cars.
I love Mugello. Very underrated Ferrari red IMO. Deep, dark and very classy indeed and free so what's not to like.
Would be interested in a color-price-list for the 296, too.... So ridiculous, that the same color is so different in price concerning different models. I don't mind to pay extra, but it makes a difference between 12k and 30+k, at least for me
It’s really a shame. One should boycott any color that cost extra. They charge extra for a former standard color which they are not even able to paint in reasonable quality.
I believe it varies depending on the model. As far as I know some metallic colors for Roma, 812, 296 and SF90 are still offered free of charge. For the PS only non-metallic are cost-free . To compensate the dilemma, Grigio Scuro has been added to the standard colors.
