Willy T. pretty accurately called it in the pre-show.
I wish it was a real constructor beating Mercedes though like say Ferrari, jaguar, bmw, Aston Martin something else than a race team branded by an energy drink lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Sky Sports USGP Meeting with F1: "Ok! Listen up, we're going to America to do the GP broadcast! Here's what we need! : 1. Celebrities! We don't care who, just get some! 2. An American woman to do the pre-race...announce her has the most successful woman racer....(I was secretly hoping it was Shirley Muldowney or Lynn St. James) 3. We need Shaq! I don't care what he does, just get him! There's nothing more american than shaq. 4. We need a ridiculous car for Shaq to ride in....maybe it could be the pace car! WAIT! it could be how one of the trophies is delivered. It's gotta be a BIG car. Americans like BIG cars. 5. ....
5. Everyone gets a cowboy hat! 6. Get Danny Ric to make fun of americans without them realizing it. 7. The F1 paddock still has to wear masks even though the other 400000 people at the track won't be. 8. ...
Genuine laugh out loud. Merc strategy has been the best, by far, for a good 8-9 years. Now suddenly they're abysmal because they didn't take a -huge- gamble by boxing very early?
Mercedes did everything right, RB did everything right, Max used RB strategy perfectly, Hamilton is getting old
You must have been watching another sport Hahahahaha, RB are head and shoulders above MB in strategy. How is it a gamble boxing early you fool, they would have gained the undercut just like RB did in the first stint. Track position is key, at least force Verstappen in to passing for the win!
Weak argument. He is getting beat that’s it. He is still a far superior athlete than any guy out there, he is beaten on skills Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I clearly know more than you! Go on and explain how turning down the undercut is the right thing to do when you have a car that is known to be poor in traffic! RB showed them how to undercut, they didn't have the brains to do the same.
Disagree. Both Ferrari drivers were doing a good job -- better than the team. Starting Carlos on softs was a bad mistake. And the crew bungled the stop. (But then, so did Norris' crew.) And Sainz was closing down RIC, ... until RIC broke Carlos' front wing end plate in that collision. (Sainz seemed to think it was intentional. Maybe; maybe not. But it slowed Carlos down enough to give Bottas a chance to take more points away from Ferrari.) Anyone else get the impression that Merc has a switch they can flip to make Ham suddenly faster than the rest of the grid? But Max played it smart. With the earlier stop, he preserved his tires for the fight at the end. Just enough. Interesting race all the way through.
Tremendous crowd, though it probably included Canadians who lost their own race and Mexicans for whom one G.P. isn't enough. It'll be interesting to see what sort of crowd Miami can draw.
All cars are poor in traffic. It was very early to box. Even for the 2nd stop. What was the gap...2.5 seconds Max in front? That's a very ballsy early stop. At that time Max could probably have pitted the next lap and still come out ahead.
U want me to get ur posts from 2 weeks ago when u glorify sainz only to murder him next week? Smh Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Lewis left Max right. Data supports that if Lewis pitted a lap earlier, he'd stil be behind Max, and you'd now be stomping your feet insulting people that they know sweet **** all. So no change in either situation, really. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Sorry jack, but before calling others posts stupid you should perhaps look in the mirror. Nobody insulted you, or was rude to you, so please try to be a bit more civil next time...it's not very smart to talk about someone who might (or not) know a bit more on the subject than yourself. Ps: And yes, Max is a far better driven than your friend...and he's not the only one!
It's hard to believe but the Texas promotors have done the impossible . . . . They've made Tony George look sophisticated. OK, . . . I joke, I joke. That was a great crowd. Congrats to all involved.
