If you look at BAT, the average sorted F430(F1)is going for more than $120,000. The gated understandably is going for about $80,000 - $100,000 more. Gated 360 spyders are selling for more than the F1 F430 as well. Just thought I point it out.

Yes, similar with 993 widebodies, BAT bidders seem not to be too concerned with miles, number of owners, sometimes even paintwork and repair. Never would have imagined this 2 years ago! Glad my garage is full, market too rich for me right now. I’m going to wait it out 2-3 years before my next purchase, hoping for more normality then.

Same here, will wait for the madness to end before buying anything...including daily drivers.

Glad no one purchased mine when I was doing a fire sale on it when CV shut downs kicked in. At this point I'm expecting to sell at higher than the price I purchased it for, or at worst break even.

I think your $120,000 is a low number for a sorted 430. That was what an 08 or 09 sorted car was last year before Covid. A fully sorted F430 is coming close to an unsorted 458 in value. FYI: I'm basing this on a recent appraisal for my car for my insurance company.

Prices a lot higher in the US. Here in Europe I see 430s for as low as 70k euros. Scuderias for 140k euros. Not much changed compared to 2 years ago

I just closed a week ago on a sorted 2008 F430 spider with Continental Autosports for a decent amount higher than $120,000. Just an FYI

For 245k, I will buy another F430 ; convert it to manual and have a manual F430 AND a F1 F430. One for track and one for everything else.
    Just my 2 cents :)

Goofy "go-fast-goodies" inflation going on with the Tesla/crypto/meme stock money. Supply chain issues exacerbating the basic goods.

Can't argue with Tesla going from $100 in March 2020 to $1200 today. Past you put that $100k you were saving for a mint F430 into Tesla stock. Now you can buy 10 F430

I gave up and joined. Got 0.9% APR 10 year on a setup for the house. Pretty much free money to me and Tesla gets to add the full value to their books on signing. (per GAAP)

Given the financials, Elon made me do it. Tesla already raised the APR to 2.99%

Panels/PW2/PW2+ along with the newest style backup switch that lives between the meter. Can sell house before ten years and don't even owe the bulk payment.

You lot keep converting the F1's to manuals, then it will be the F1's that are worth the premium !

The prices to me are actually low compared to what you would pay at many Ferrari and trusted 3rd party exotic car dealers. Many people I know assume cars on BAT are unsorted unless they have some physical documentation of recent inspection/work from a trusted source.

One thing to keep in mind with BAT is that they have professional photographers taking the pictures. This can hide a lot of "unsorted" cosmetic issues with the cars as there is no incentive to show defects but to hide them. This isn't even counting the issues that a PPO could possibly find. I would much rather find a car using a service like Mike from Yellow Compass Supercars where the car is inspected where even minor cosmetic issues (which could hide major ones) are disclosed.

Hello, while I agree that a 'factory' F430 manual should command a premium due to the numbers produced, I think 'conversions' will result diminished values for those cars.
I would never convert my F1.
    We shall see.
    Regards,
    Les

Quite possible; but it's not about the value here is it. It's about the driving pleasure. I would have loved a gated F430, but could not afford one.

This way, I still have a chance of owing a gated F430. Ok, not original gated, but still... I don't care about the value of the car too much, never did. Life is too short, just enjoy it :)
