Ohoh, when was Garry’s last post: https://www.scmp.com/news/hong-kong/health-environment/article/3155598/coronavirus-cathay-pacific-pilots-infection I’m pretty sure he lives in DB (but so do a lot of other CX pilots) . Sending best wishes...
Wow whoda thought eh? https://www.abc.net.au/news/2021-11-11/qld-coronavirus-covid-hotel-quarantine/100605726
Make em pay, wtf should our tax dollars have to pay for that crap? They were the ones wanted to travel to see family or whatever. A lot of my work mates avoided crossing interstate to visit family etc over the last 12 months+ so they didn't have to go into quarantine and pay that accommodation bill at the end of it. One work mate's Mother passed away earlier this year in Melbourne, so he flew down and went to her funeral etc etc. He flew back into Brisbane and had to spend 2 weeks in quarantine and he paid his $2200 bill. He wasn't happy, but he had to pay it. Make them all pay, even if they pay it off over the next 12 months. **** em.
How many more mill's of 'our' dosh do you think the Qld gov't is going to fork out trying to recoup all that dosh from, primarily, folk whom just don't have it?

I had another post COVID follow up through the rooms this morning. 26 year old male, previously healthy, unvaccinated Diffuse lung disease now, with extensive damage ( all those whitish bits- 2nd image is what lungs should look like just to give you an idea). He won’t return to normal By the way, I have never seen this with seasonal influenza, no matter what you hear or read on Facebook etc, this is not “like the flu” Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'm constantly shaking my head at people who say "it's just the flu". It's not. This 26 year old now looks forward to respiratory illnesses for the rest of his life. I have reported chest imaging for close to 30 years now and that means looking at exams totalling in the hundreds of thousands. I have never seen influenza cause lung damage like this. I'm seeing COVID lung like this as almost a weekly occurrence.
