Hello everyone. My wife and I are going to be looking at a month or so rental for February. We have been coming to LAS for 40 years. Interested in locals' opinion on the subject. We are thinking about Dragon Ridge/MacDonald Highlands, or Ridges of Summerlin for the rental. Like most locals, we expect we'll only be on the Strip when friends visit so I want a good local, friendly spot. Other neighborhood suggestions also welcomed. Thanks in advance, Keith

I would say that the Red Rock Casino by Summerlin is probably your best bet. Their steakhouse (T-Bones) is pretty good. Your other option is going to be the Station casinos, and there are several of them around the city. I haven't been to any of those, so can't really comment, but my impression is the Red Rock is a step up from them.

Thanks Howard. Been to RR several times, and maybe 3 or 4 stations. Also the Aliante NW of the strip. I thought someone might chime in with something down Henderson / DragonRidge / MacDonald's Highlands way.

Those are two excellent options, on opposing sides of town as I'm sure you know. There is a lot more to do around The Ridges than over by Dragon Ridge. What do you guys like to do with your time?

Apologies for reviving this old thread, but I'm actually on a similar hunt for casino recommendations. I usually stick to online gambling, but this time I want to try my luck in a real casino.

While I don't have specific recommendations for off-strip upscale casinos, I recently came across a website called https://www.annecocukbeslenmesi.org/ that has a list of different casinos. It might be worth checking out if you're interested in exploring online gambling options as well. As for your rental in February, Dragon Ridge/MacDonald Highlands and Ridges of Summerlin sound like great choices. I wonder which one did you pick in the end?

We had some changes in plans and of course Covid was still cooking so we did not do a rental. And then in January 2022 we adopted a new dog. We are still doing Bellagio visits generally 3x or 4x a year. Thanks for all the suggestions. Keith
