The 296 pricing guide is out and your dealer should be able to share it with you. The current base price is $308,351. F8 is $270,530

The 458 steering wheel is comically large. The smaller wheel of the F8 is one of the improvements.

The Roma wheel made me want to punch an engineer in the face over the dumb touchpads front and back, but here’s to hoping they adjust the touchpad and software to not be as fickle while you’re driving. Probably not but that’s my fantasy.

I thought you could disable these while driving or something? Like it or not, this is what is going to be on the 296.

You can. I have mine in a sleep mode that u wake up by touching the track pad. Sooooo much better. I was constantly hitting the voice button during spirited driving. However, when I drive my gts I feel so much more at “home” with Ferrari as it relates to an interior. In the Roma I wish they had left the analog tach and surrounded (not flanked) it with a digital screen…I think it would have looked very contemporary and would have preserved the gorgeous details of the tach. It would have been a great move forward from the flanked screens but preserved the beauty of that dial. I am a watch guy so maybe it’s just a big deal for me but not others.

agreed, change for the sake of change regardless of whether it is actually better or not is truly annoying, the haptic controls are such an example, impossible to use when driving at speed, dials and buttons are tactile and work to keep your eyes on the road so much better...

but, probably zero chance Ferrari will re-think their "HMI"

Are the price guides ever released out into the wild?

Yes, however most dealers will ask you not to publish them.
