Hope you didn't pay much for this watch, looks fake The shape + date window + crown + link on strap all wrong
Good eye. It was just over $100. I thought it was quite well done, and you’re the first to notice. My son has worn it every day for the past year or so. Matt Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yeah I saw that + 1-2x other in this thread that have some issues Have good eye for Patek watches and small details Thats great your son use mechanical watch
I realise I never updated the group on my 5524r + accessories story ended… but let’s just say it had a very happy ending. With huge thanks to SoCal to Az and Jo Image Unavailable, Please Login Sta7 for their inspiration and encouragement and to flat_plane_eddie for his knowledge and expert insights. What a great piece. Have had it for a while now and just can’t take it off my wrist…!
This Patek movement looks very suspect. Notice the screw at the center of the rotor. Also the shock spring for the balance wheel is not correct. There is also a regulator gate which Patek Philippe does not use, it should be a free sprung balance. Picture below is how the movement should look. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Only one watch stands out with a bespoke movement in your tray. Which one is it? love your PP collections!!
Not mine; my son’s. He’s worn it daily for the past year. High school, Bus Trip, and college. Rather obviously, I was curious to see if it could pass for the real thing. And it did for a surprisingly long time. Matt
5235G, I believe is the only watch movement in the Patek line-up that is not used in any other model(?).
Im hearing new Nautilus is 5811G. There is a annual calendar dual time. What else is being released tomorrow?
