I'm curious to know your opinions
Scuderia ..not because i have one I assume we are talking stock exhausts all around Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
People with a 360 will say 360 and people with a 430 will say 430. I like both so I am on the fence, pushed for a winner though I think the stock 430 just has the edge, but the valve on and off nonsense makes the car sound like its broken to me. Race Headers and remote valves make it perfect!
That Is a good point ..my valves are open all the time ..so yes with valve stock it does sound off /broken Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
With valves open .. it is very hard to tell the difference.. at least I can't Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
I see clarification has been added between standard 360 vs. 430. I will render a personal taste opinion (nothing more) on something that I know is sacrosanct here. I need some middle ground between old F1 sound and the more subdued sound of say a 488. This may be the pinnacle for some.. As a scud owner I actually like the sound of the 458 Speciale here more than my Scud.
A little of both perhaps. In the context of his question, the 430. More to the middle ground for me. My $.02 - worth half of that
which one sounds better 360 or 430 (only standard models, no CS or Scuderia) Must be me that read it wrong. My bad.
360 owner here and I think the stock 430 has an edge on the 360. But thankfully there are so many ways to customize the exhaust, you can make the car sound basically however you want. I run a non-valved tubi with everything else stock and the car sounds great to me. BUT someday I hope to own a 430 scud too
Cars sound really different when inside vs outside so mines not a fair comparison. Never drove a 360, but I would describe drive-by sound as more musical, what I would imagine a Ferrari to sound like. I never heard my stock 430 from the outside, but it is loud and sounds really angry when giving it the beans. I’d give the nod to the 360, but depends on my mood
I say the 360 sounds better. I have a 430 and when my buddy with the 360 and I go for a drive, I always want to drive behind him so I can hear his car go through the gears. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I personally think that the 360 sounds better than the 430, the 355 sounds better than the 360, the 348 sounds better than the 355. If you like that high pitched Formula 1 sound, you need small cylinders, and a lot of them. That being said, the Scuderia sounds phenomenal. It sounds like an Indy car going through the gears.
Standard mufflers F430 is better than standard muffler 360 as the F430 gets a variation of the stradale/sport muffler. However a 360 with the sport muffler will count better than a F430. Scud? Idk Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
The 430 stand exhaust sounds like a wet fart. The only good thing about them is they can be sourced reasonable cheap and once converted to fit a 360 with the valves open, well all i can say is wow!!!.
