OMG what a game LV had against the Chargers!!!!! That was fun to watch.

RAIDERS BABY! They had to win vs the Colts and Boltz and did both.

I cannot believe the Dolphins fired Flores, that solidifies how frickin STUPID that ownership is.
Good for Brian, but I hope he just goes as a DC, nobody needs the headache of being a HC.
He will now have his choice of where to go - Raiders, Chargers, Jax could all use him.

 

I saw that too, I think if he had not done that LV MIGHT have settled for a tie,
but that may have pissed off LV so LV said 'screw this' - and went for the win.

BUT, also, a tie would have put the Chargers AND LV in, and Pitt out, which one of these
do you NOT want to see in the playoffs?

 

You're probably right but you also have to question the 4th down attempt on the Boltz own 18 yard line when already down by 7. Lots of weird coaching stuff going on last night.

The Raiders are going to have a tough decision to make this summer and it has to be pretty soon. If they win against Cleveland you would have to say they already have their new head coach.

 

The irony is that's usually the Chargers' plight. I don't think they've had a single home game since they moved from San Diego where their fans outnumbered those of the opposing team.

 

I agree with that, since I was anticipating a big year in 2022. I'm a fan of Stephen Ross (we went to the same high school) but sometimes he makes puzzling decisions.

Staley is already backpeddling on calling that time out, but the thing is, he let the
clock run down to 5 seconds and THEN called the timeout, why? If he was thinking
of letting it go to a tie you DON'T call a timeout.
The Raiders coach as much as said that entered the decision for them to kick a game winning FG.

They have a really good chance to beat Cleveland - if they were playing them,
I'm just not so sure against Cinci, though, but Burrow is hot right now, two games
and 900+ yards.
I don't see how you DON'T give the guy a shot at permanent HC.

I could see Flores going to the LAC as a DC, but I'd rather go to LV if they
were looking for a DC.

Wasn't it the first year in LA when the Chargers played at the college stadium,
they played the Steelers and the stadium was 80% black and gold?

The Jets don't look TOO bad - except they still need a QB.

The Iggles - can't figure out which RB to head the backfield, and that is so
incredibly hard on the O/L because blocking for every RB is a teeny bit different.

Indy still needs a QB, and maybe an OC.

Houston surprised the hell out of me - but they need a #1 defacto RB

Jax HAS really good players, but reconstituted college position coaches won't cut it,
they need a top-rate QB coach or Lawrence will be wasted.

Detroit needs some DL help, they are close. They also need a good RB that won't fold like a card table every year.
'Carolina '. Same as Detroit.

Atlanta - who knows, they need a whole new team - ENTIRE new team.

Giants - a lot of really good pieces - NONE of where are ever 100% healthy.
I'm not so sure Barkley will ever be what he was.
