Why would you even waste your time to begin with? At the very first sign of him being evasive/dodgy, simply walk away. There are several 355s out there.

I completely agree with your position. Crazy thing is guys with big money, buy stuff you and I wouldn’t, all day long. Think of 10 million dollar condos in NYC bought and then sit vacant. Lot’s of cash sitting out there devaluing everyday. People need places to park money. It doesn’t have to make sense, because it doesn’t make sense.

 

I like how the ad says "WON'T LAST" in all caps. That car's been for sale for at least a couple of years if not longer.

 

The ad says "WON'T LAST" because the car literally won’t last if it’s taken care of going forward with the same lack of diligence it’s been given in the past.

 

Plus -- and this is its rarest feature -- it has 3,700 miles on the odometer but the seats look like they have 20K miles on them.

 

Hmmmm.... I wonder if its "technically possible" to unhook the speedo/odometer and drive around without registering mileage? Wonder if anyone has ever though of that with a 348/355? That probably did not happen in this case, that's legit mileage.

 

It's an old analog odometer. Anyone who has ever worked on one of these knows how easy it is to "revise" the drum. Come on man!
