I presume that would give occupants even less space in the cabin to lean back, etc.? I don't think I'll ever fit in a 2-seater spider/targa from Ferrari
and the 296 interior is already a tight squeeze from what I have heard. I am 6-4 with long legs, my 488 Spider with electric seats was very uncomfortable as I couldn’t get the seat back far enough (or with it all the way back, it rubbed and creaked against the firewall). F8 with carbon race seats is perfect but I really can’t give up any room…
I love the 296 design and like the idea of smaller car. The extra HP is plus. Will be placing an order for the spider version when it’s announced. I had a 488 spider and replaced it with Pista. While it won’t be a Pista, I am looking forward to top down F car driving. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Australian nightmare. You could get two cars for this in other places, tho not all. 300 in taxes alone. Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Delivery fee just keeps going up. Oh well at least you dont have the 9% stamp duty we have in Vic. Just shows you why 488 GTB are in demand and prices just going up.
Some reliable sources here on FChat have quoted launch to be this month but I don't think it will be later than this spring as the S90 spider was also launched within 9-10 months of the coupe
So hopefully we'll know pretty soon. Targa would be a deal breaker for me, I only ordered the coupe to get a spider.
IMO if we get a Targa it may be a very elaborate design similar to the Porsche 911 Targa in terms of roof operation I would hold up until launch before you decide
Yup, at this point in the game there's no reason to do anything but wait and see what happens. If it's powered and similar to the 911 Targa in terms of operation, that wouldn't be so bad. If it's like the C7 though, ugh.
based on politics and economics everything literally is upside down in Australia. i don't know how people can live there.
