Every time I close the trunk on my F12, while charging, I’m always afraid to cut the cable

Can you tell me where do you put the cable in order not to ruin it?
    Thanks

Same corner as the plug, make sure the cable is flat before you shut the trunk.

Had similar concerns. Ran it out of front passenger window.

Best solution I’ve been told is to not use it and use a conventional Battery Tender straight to the battery. That’s what I’m doing now and it’s great. Hard wired cable to battery charger comes out by the wiper.

This is a much better long term solution. Most higher end electronic shops can also make a port similar to how it is on the 812s and put it in the rear bumper. Lots of options, just depends on the $$ spent.

Don't shut the lid down fully, the lights in the boot/ trunk will go out after 1/2 an hour.
