Great watch and I'm thinking about getting one as well. Dollar for dollar I think it's a great purchase given all the hysteria over the Rolex SS watches. Cheers!
Bought a Grand Seiko a month ago. The 600m divers watch, 5 day reserve Spring Drive. Not one second off over the last 4 weeks. Impressed. Ali Image Unavailable, Please Login
Don’t see too many UNs posted here but I am a fan! My first nice watch and still one of my favorites.
Thanks. Yes, these are still in production. But not easy to get. Mine is the 41mm. Rolex doesn’t offer it on a jubilee. So I sourced one as a change-up to the oyster bracelet it comes on.
I see that few, if any, set the date correctly. You have to wonder why they keep putting dates in the watches...
This was once one of the undervalued Rolex sport watches, now its picking up. This is different from a submariner, GMT or Daytona. But it has the dial of a submariner, slim case of a daytona and band of a sport watch. And its not top heavy like sport watch. If you are buying a DJ TT, i would recommend this instead. Love the platinum on this. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I still am a huge fan, perfect under the radar yet special watch at the same time! Erik Image Unavailable, Please Login
Have owned this from new. I bought around 1994 at Watches of Switzerland in Bond Street in London. The list price was £9,000 and I remember I offered them £6,500 and they said ok. I remember the numbers like it was yesterday as that was my first big watch purchase! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I love mine. It's got a heft that doesn't let you forget it's there, yet doesn't look big on the wrist. Great watch.
That is the Zenith Rolex Daytona movement. I had that same watch. Loved it. Wish I had never sold it.
