    Hi F Chat,

    My F8 Tributo just got painted and I cannot wait for my new car! I noticed on my spec list in the Ferrari App that the Height Lever was not added to the options per my request. I contacted the dealer and it's too late to have them update this. Not sure what happened, but it's confirmed that the call will not come with the lever.

    I wanted to get personal experiences from 458, 488, F8 owners if the Daytona Seats are going to be fine for someone 5'10'' and from time to time my GF who is 5'4.5". Realistically, would it be necessary to have or do most of you around my height have it set to all the way down?

    You’ll be perfectly fine. I’m the same height and had the same seats in my 488. Your gf will be fine as well. Enjoy the wait!

    Congratulations on your new car! You're going to love it.

    Had a 458 Spider, 488 Spider & now an F8 Spider. Am 5'11", 160 lb. Wife is 5'4".
    All 3 cars had the Lg. racing seats. Never experienced any issues with the seats or the ability to feel comfortable or see out. Wife has been comfortable in all 3 cars. I wouldn't about it. I believe you both will find the seats just fine. I'll be surprised if that is not the case.

    There are several options “missing” from my app but that are on the build sheet which is pulled directly from MODIS. Ferrari uses the MODIS build sheet. Ask your dealer to print you a copy of your build directly from MODIS and check for your options there. If it’s not on MODIS then the car will not have the option.

    Thanks, everyone. I'm sure it will be fine. Sounds like it's not a must-have, but a nice option just in case.

    I’m 5’9” and i have no problems driving my F8 without seat lifter.
    My girlfriend is 5’6.8” and doesn’t have problems either driving it.
    Enjoy the car when you it gets delivered, it’s such a great car!

    Same height as you. My seat is fine so I didn’t order the lifter after sitting in a demo.

    Think you’ll be fine. 6’ and I have lifter but it’s never off the lowest level and I would take it lower if I could. You want to sit low in an F8 (edited to say mines a spider) and feel cocooned.

    The seats are also dealer adjustable to I think 3 or 4 height levels so if you find they are too low for you, they can set them higher. It will just take a little time and effort.

    Yea why not?! This is one of the easiest exotics to drive. My LP-560 is a bit more involved being a single clutch. I plan to have her take the F8 while I take the Lambo or 997TT to shows, etc.

    I have them in my car right now, 2020 F8. I bought the Hill seat spacer kit as soon as they were available from Hill, the mounting points for the race seats on the 488 are the exact same as the F8….maybe the 458 too.

    I listened to the "you need this for resale" b.s. from my dealer and ordered my Daytona racing seats with the height adjustment lever. I regret it. Not just because of the cost (it's ridiculous for what it is, but hey, it's a Ferrari, right?), but because it raises the seat that my head almost touches the headliner with a helmet on. I really didn't need this lifter and my seat is lowered all the way to the bottom...
