Are these available to buy / order or is everything pre sold ? Anybody driven one ? How are they ? MDS
I love mine. Definitely drives like an off road vehicle. I have a 2021 Raptor 37 also and it rides much better. The Bronco is cool and gets a lot of looks. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Apologies for the brevity - This darn "work" thing gets in the way of my eloquent FChat posts!! Ha I did not order the Rubicon because I didn't like the Bronco - I did like it and think they look cool as hell. That said, they are treating them like Ferrari SP3s with regard to getting one and I did not like it enough to a) pay a premium - b) deal with some snot-nose Ford salesman and manager with the attitude they were doing me a favor to sell me one - c) with the TeadLightly/FCA Affiliates program I was able to order a Rubicon for 1% below invoice and the dealership was QUITE HAPPY to have my business. That and the history of Ford needing a few model cycles to work out the bugs I felt better about the Rubicon. But I did like the way the Bronco drove and looked - You definitely know you are in a proper off-road vehicle as opposed to the last few "Broncos" which felt more like an Escalade than a Bronco so Ford got it right for the image and demographic they are targeting. Hope this helps - Cheers
As someone who normally couldn’t care less about SUVs… very nice. And the color really works. Congrats Sent from my iPad using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Mike I’ve driven them and they’re cool. Rides like you’d expect a largish suv to ride. Underpowered with a 4cyl. Seem well built and theres obviously loads of customization options which is fun. I think they’re still pretty difficult to get and understand if you don’t have a slot with a build date you won’t see one in 22 unless you pay over sticker for instant gratification to a dealer that has a spec you like. They’re flipping the line to do the raptor version now and I’ve got one on order that I’m looking forward to getting. If you want a contact I can link you to a couple of dealers I know well and maybe one can hook you up. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Just spoke with my dealer, they stopped production of the Bronco for now due to the chip shortage. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Inam waiting for the order bank to open back up to get the raptor version. I love my raptors, 14’ and 20’.
I sat down with a salesman Friday at the dealership handling my T-boned daily driver. He confirmed everything I had read....for the full size Bronco, he has a order list spanning 3 legal pad pages. He says most of his orders won’t get filled until 2023. If I want to stand in an endless line, I’ll go stand in the Porsche GT3 line. So I’ll go order a Wrangler instead.
Just picked one up for my wife. She wanted something she could beat up and beat around. Local dealers were asking 5-25k over msrp. I found one private party with a hardtop, Sasquatch package exactly how I wanted it in Florida. Car had 20 miles on it. 59k msrp, I paid 67 but did not have to pay any sales tax so worth it to me to get it quickly. It’s a nice truck. Once she gets bored with it I’ll probably throw some bigger tires and mods on it just for fun.
Ok I was able to find a couple choices for my son, one’s a basic 2 door with a lifted suspension kit. Leaning towards this first one for him. The second is a Badlands 4 door. Both are manual trans!! Any must have options or is the basic stock one ok? Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I like the lifted one. The thing I like about the badlands is the black interior. Some of the other ones have a two tone interior which I don’t like. to me the must have is the 12 inch screen which is nice. The other was the Sasquatch package which has a lift and bigger tires. However the 2 door lifted one you have has bigger tires than what you would get on the Sasquatch package. Let me know if you have other questions. I did a ton of research on this. Ps get hard top- soft top makes a lot of noise.
Thanks! I do think the 2 door shorter wheel base will be a bit easier to drive for a teenager. I’ll have to check out the interior in both cars. The 4 door has a soft top, of which I am not keen on as well. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Def don’t do soft top. I like the look of the 2 door. And since it’s lifted, looks better also. Probably 2 door better for a teenager otherwise he becomes the taxi for all his friends. As long as you like the interior color, get it. 12 inch screen is a nice to have but I guess for a teen- not mandatory.
