Personal observation is dicey at best but I tried putting a car on BAT. They did not accept my reserve. They gave me a number that was below accepted valuation on most sites. The car sold at the reserve I told myself I would sell the car for. You must remember a sale is a sale just like real estate. They could care less about the final number as long as they get their cut.
They will not accept a car if it has a high reserve, it just wastes everyones time. From what I hear it's much lower than the average selling price.

I bought a 328GTB six years ago, and still have it. Low miles, super rare color, even rarer interior. Hard to believe one would sell for MORE than a Testarossa. Our world has really gone crazy. Never been a fan of Black cars with Black interiors, but it must have excited someone. Hard to believe just a year ago, I paid 165K for a 3000 mile Testarossa on Bat. That was top dollar for a nice car. NOW - a 328 doubled that!

I'm sure she is a great person. A lady who likes cars is always at the top of any list! The crazy here is whoever paid that kind of money for a 355! Kuddos to her for getting that results!!
