Ferrari makes a great car. But to think they are the only ones is so lame. And yes the 458 is a great naturally aspirated car. It reminds me of my 992 GT3. Sounds great. High revving. But gets it’s ass handed to it performance wise by a bunch of other cars.
I hate to say it but kinda agree with him. McLarens and Porches have no “ soul”… they are like Mercedes in that aspect. Lamborghini has a closer emotional attachment and feel to the driver than Macs and Porsches. None of them have the sort of emotional song that Ferrari has. Don’t agree? Name me one McLaren worth 30/40/50 million. Or Porsche for that matter. where is the “ Mclareninon or Porchelino Classic held every year? How hard is it to tour the Porsche factory?
And he will bore of it in a year or two. No soul. Technically incredible, blistering fast, but ….. no song. It’s soul is steel and it’s heart is dead. Ferrari is art, McLaren is technical prowess. Guess which one lasts longer?
I have owned a 765LT. Kept it 7 months, breathtakingly fast, beautiful exterior but hideous interior. It didn’t do anything for me after about 3 months of ownership. Sold it for a Speciale. Never looked back.
Porsche has “no soul?” An Aventador has more “driver feel” than a Porsche GT3 or GT3RS? Talk about your “car guy opinions” having zero credibility.
Don’t care what you think in the least. Porsches suck in my opinion. Go drive one then drive a Speciale Aperta on a twisty road at full rpm then get back with me on the comparison…. And I am not sticking up for the pickup truck with cool doors called the Aventador either. Terrible sports car.

Byeeeee, Guess you can’t stand alternative opinions. I have owned 24 exotics over 20 years with 5 different brands represented. Raced SCCA, been to three drivers schools and 2 Ferrari Corsa schools, and yes I have owned Porsches. My opinion, you don’t like it ? Dont care.

I’m sorry, but the car comparisons are silly no matter where you live, in my opinion. Almost every one of these cars has more performance than 90% of people can handle. Each one has its own pros and cons but they are each cars that most everyone is envy of. We all work hard and are lucky to be able to own and drive cars that most people can only dream of. No offense but to sit here and say X car is bad and Y car is the best and a piece of art is silly. Those are subjective feelings. Someone may look at a Jackson Pollock painting and say it is horrible looking. Someone else may say that is the most beautiful thing ever. It may sell for $140 million but that doesn’t mean that either opinion is correct (or incorrect). Some people find Porsche to be amazing, beautiful and the best track car, others may find it lacks soul. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and you have expressed yours but to bash other cars and peoples opinions is silly. Again, no disrespect intended at all. We all have a passion for cars on here.
