    Not sure if it’s the same system as it’s predecessors and/or other current models, but the navigation system in my F8 is simply awful and frankly unusable. Voice announcements and graphic updates are late, routing is circuitous, and the left TFT is unreadable. I pledge to never even think about using it again.

    Good thing I only bought the engine and they threw the car in for free. Google Maps and Waze are infinitely better.

    I only use Waze on all my car. Fortunately I have CarPlay in mine.

    I just got my F8 - have to agree - half the time it doesn't seem to really know where I am :)

    Ah well - I had pretty low expectations. I didn't get this car for the Infotainment etc.

    But - If I allow myself to think about it...it is pretty silly. This is not exactly cutting edge stuff.

    Just put your destination in Google maps and listen to your phone.

    You didn’t expect Ferrari to give you a good nav system for $400,000 did you?

    Wait …. My car has Navigation? I’ve never even attempted to use it.

    My F8 is at stage 70 so it's
    getting real now. Question regarding car play, I believe I heard it was only a wired system. Is that correct?

    It is wired. I bought a device to make it available wireless but still have to try it :)

    IMO when you are used to Waze/Google, every built-in car nav sucks. Routing is wierd and traffic info updates are usually slow so you end up stuck in some traffic trying to avoid jams that are no longer there. Even if the in-car nav would be actually good it is just convinient to use the same nav (waze/google) in every car you have and which you have in your pocket all the time anyway
