Loving the seat geekery going on in this thread! My 360 has factory carbon seats, so I totally get it
I was just researching putting Recaro Sportster CS seats in my car. Basically the only thing I don't like about the 355 is the stock seats. They're ugly, they're not very comfortable, they offer little support in turns. These Recaro's don't look like the carbon seats, but I think aesthetically they work well in the 355 interior. Nobody would say "what are those doing there?" One question is whether the black matches the factory leather in color and gloss. It looks like it does, but I've never seen these in person. Thoughts? Agreed. I opted for Daytona seats from a 430. Great looking, supportive, and much easier to maneuver when lowering the top. Image Unavailable, Please Login
PP's are great, I had them in my 993 back in the day when I tracked it. But I don't want one-piece shells in the 355, which is already enough of a pain in the ass to get in and out of.
Yeah, not the easiest in the world. I'm still young enough to not ***** about it ...got a few good years left.
The factory F355 Recaros are overall better than the Sportster CS (for me at least) I'm 165lbs, I guess wider shoulders and thought the stock F355 seats were really comfortable. To me, the Sportster CS is huge. I slide around in it like it's a bench seat. Also feel it would be a downgrade in terms of quality.
