    What: Regional Event
    When: Open For Discussion
    Where: Open to Discussion

Etc: So, the last regional event was back in 2015, Shawn R was President, and he put together a top teir regional event board of directors to host the event in DFW.

A couple links to discussion from 2015:

Anyways, the regional board of directors have been throwing the idea around for the past year or so of hosting another one in 2022 or more likely 2023. A few ideas have been put out there and haven't gained traction. During last nights SCR BoD meeting it was proposed that we say go or no go by the end of June. I thought why not throw ideas out to FC members and see what they think....

    Group Dinner

    Saturday

    Sunday

    Questions for discussion:

    1. Yes.
    2. Outside DFW would be great! Ozarks and Big Bend , in particular.
    3. The Jefferson, TX trip is ~ $1K for 3 days/2 people? So, $500/day/person seems right, if including lodging.
    4. Driving, eating.
    5. Everything not in #4 !
    6. Nothing I can thing off the top of my head.
    7. Depends on time of year. Spring is busiest time of the year. Other times - generally free.
    8. No idea.

Love it. Know where Lajitas is. Never been. Have wanted to go. If BF handles the F-car transport to and fro, that'd be an excellent excuse for a road trip down there in one of the other cars or trucks!

The wife votes for this. That's a great part of town with access to fun places to drive.

The club has relationships with carriers / transporters, pick up & drop off at each Dealership makes it better.

Lajitas has its own private jet(s) that can pick up from FBO's in each of the primary cities as well, making getting members there and back easy as well.

Doing the above makes it so that members get all the benefits of Big Bend without the drawback of the long boring parts!

    All IMO of course.

Full Disclosure, with sponsors, Lajitas could run closer to $3,500pp for the entire event, all in ( Transport, private jet, rooms, food, etc )

But the WOW Factor is priceless,

Agreed, the entire time Pantea was in law school, I was sneaking off driving different roads and routes.
Trying different places to eat, etc... we may bus downtown to the Alamo though, I don't think I'd roll in with 100+ Ferrari!
