i drove a 720s yesterday. incredible car. just incredible. doesnt have the same soul as a ferrari, but man oh man....it performs like a a computer program of the perfect super car. need to get one of these mclarens.
I don’t know, when I drive the 675lt, I understand where Bruce was coming from with lightweight, power, and precision. I get the “heritage” of where these cars were born from. Mclaren’s legacy lives on in these cars much like enzo has inspired the most recent and the past models
Received some additional pics of the 765lt spider post make ready and with tint and full pf done. won’t be home to take delivery and actually drive it until mid August but it’s fun to see how it turned out… Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
i drove the 570gt and the Mclaren Gt back to back this weekend. very impressed with both cars. the GT is of course a step above the 570GT. consider these both worthy of being included in my garage at the next opportunity.
i have driven the 720s, and it is the best modern car i have ever experienced. ' but at $100k+ more than a GT, that does about 80% of what i would get out of a 720s, the GT is fine with me.
I was invited by McLaren to drive the Artura. I went into this planing to be disappointed. I was pleasantly surprised. It was very good. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have heard from a few people that thought it was too soft for lack of a better word. How was the performance, fit and finish? I couldn't make it to test drive but I did see a few in person and it is a good looking car.

I watched a little of Mecum over the weekend. On successive cars, the bidding stalled and the Mecum people put the usual arm on the seller to remove the reserve, "You gotta keep the momentum" the fat guy told the seller. He did. 20 seconds later car hammered for not a nickel more than bid prior to reserve being taken off.. This exact scenario was repeated with the next car. Hope the seller got some concessions from Mecum.
Seller's submit their cars and reserve prices (in their heads) months ago. They missed the 'peak' prices by 4-6(?) months I think. The market has spoken. .
Performance was great. But I didn't think it was better than my 570S, and I really have no interest in the hybrid thing. Image Unavailable, Please Login
