No, it is still produces combustion products that include nasties. Of course, much of the electricity used in electric vehicles or aircraft is produced using hydrocarbons.

Problem is that electric planes are a no go for anything but very very short flights. We'll need to find another solution. I don't think its Hydrogen either.

Well so much for electric airplanes. Interesting article. The 2040 deadline they just made for airlines is also a joke, and involves carbon credits, and that always means they plan on missing their targets. The new aviation fuels also involve carbon credits to pick up the shortfalls. We are spinning a whole world of lies.

There's a lot of effort going into carbon neutral liquid fuels. the idea is in their manufacture carbon is pulled from the atmosphere, so when the fuel is burned and carbon released its a zero sum game.

porche and Boeing to name two companies are investing heavily in this tech. it works for 2x the cost of fossil fuels and of course you need energy to produce it. In Porches case they're using solar in the Chilean dessert.

Boeing is betting on carbon neutral liquid fuels, airbus thinks hydrogen. the significant issue with hydrogen is that you cant put tanks int he wings, hydrogen needs canisters under high pressure, so the fuselage is the only place, that means a bigger plane with less passengers.

Whether hydrogen or carbon neutral fuel, turbines have no issue burning it.
