No. The first post mentions this is not a Hk USA product. This SP5 is marketed, by Hk GmbH.

 

It looks like all SP5 products are manufactured in the exact same factory in Oberndorf, Germany before distribution around the world:

So why bother to import one yourself in the first place when it loses the factory warranty to do so?

This item is not for you, if you need a factory warranty. The SP5 is known to be a reliable firearm. The biggest issue with the SP5 is the extractor spring which should be replaced every 5-10K rounds. Some claim 30K rounds. The extractor spring is inexpensive and available. Several owners just buy the extractor springs and replace the part well before it requires changing it out.

I did not import this firearm.

Yes all of these are produced under the same roof. One benefit with the Hk GmbH SP5, is the absence of the WARNING: read owner's manual and other information - which is painted on the right side of the receiver. This item also comes with a full-size hard case which I find more tasteful.

 

Heckler & Koch GmbH is the manufacturer rather than the marketer. The importer of guns brought out of Germany, such as "HK Inc. Columbus, GA", will also be stamped on the receiver. Who is stamped as the importer on this particular firearm?

HK GmbH also markets the items in Europe and outside the euro zone.

No clue at the moment who imported the pistols into the USA. I do not have the pistol in my lap.

Do you need to know the corporate name of the importer.

 

My understanding is that the name of the importer must be stamped on the actual firearm:
