What was going on with those nose dips during gear changes? I haven't noticed that with mine (not that I drag race it).
It takes a little practice, but I've gotten really good at shifting the 355, I've never misssed a gate, and even though they look very rigid, it seems to just flow to the next gear perfectly Looks like in his first race, he was not shifting well at all. But he improved on each race after that The launch is what kills the 355, it bogs really bad unless you beat on it a little bit. I found the best launches involved a little bit of tire spin to stay out of that sub 4K bog Using a draggy, my best is 0 to 60 was 4.75 and my best quarter was right around 12.9 I believe
Gotta love that a 20+ yr old Ferrari can do this. I love how light and nimble it is. And the F1 sound…
I own both. My buddy drove my EV6 when I went to pick up my Spider. We were neck and neck as we "played." A Subaru WRX embarrased me - had been built. Did not sound as good, but easily pulled away. - EV6 sounds terrible compared to 355, by the way, LOL..... I love my Kia. Not a Tesla.
2x the height of the 355 it seems. Its no 355 looks wise. But at the price point its amazing. The engine sounds is a bit lacking.
it’s the best looking ev for sale in the us, and i include Tesla and Porsche in that statement. Hyundai design is on fire.
My truck can whooop my 355s but not my 348 My trucks sister in blue Same motor setup I just tow with mine
Not bad looking for sure. My toaster oven is a rather attractive device as well. Wouldn't take a second look at either of them before leaving the room and turning the lights off.
Oh he was just way faster. I sounded better, but he pulled me pretty hard. We both laughed and waved. Just would be more fun to win the race Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
a die-hard EV and battery fanatic friend just sent me this knowing I had a 355. I thought the EV driver just had to tromp the accelerator. The 355 had to launch and shift. I thought the 355 driver was poor. He left lots on the table as indicated by the 1/4 mile time. But he did learn as he went. But to hear him gunning the engine prior to launch, amazing he didn't dump the clutch and spin the tires. I'd be interested in the clutch wear. At the end of the day, would I want a breadbox Kia or a gorgeous 355? Oh. I already made my choice.
Fake..love the 355..but it will not beat an EV from 2022. No matter what it is. It just doesn't have the torque. Too small of a displacement. Add to that manual gearbox vs no gearbox.. it's pretty much impossible for it to win. Fun video though. Keeps the ICE myth alive I suppose..
Owning both, 355 will win, has you build speed. A better driver would help a lot. Especially as you get up in speed. Put on the twisties, no contest. 355 all day long Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I would have paid money betting you started this thread. Lol. What a coincidence. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Long live the ice. If you think EVs are actually happening, you are a dreamer. Sure, it's coming but it won't be tomorrow by any means.
