What looks better on a 308 Comps ts or NTM Coffin spoke?

I'm in the process of ordering 7 1/2's and 8 1/2's x16" for my '75 Gt4. But I think the coffin spokes look great on the Gts/B too.

 

It’s really a personal preference but for me personally I like the Comp TS as it resembles the 288 GTO
The Coffin looks great too on the 308 but to me it looks better on the Lancia Stratos, but really you can’t go wrong with either one.

 

The coffin spokes look better to me, but both rims look proportionally too large for the car.

 

I'd vote for the Coffin (but an inch smaller in diameter per thorn) just because I've had wheels with a bunch of little bolt heads to clean around -- not doing that again.

Coffin is my choice.

 

Love the Coffin in silver, looks like they may have been an option when new. What inch diameter are these? Is there a smaller size available? 16” would look best, understanding that there aren’t many tire options in that size.

 

I’m not sure if you’re talking about my car pictured above but the fronts are 16 and the rears are 17 and to be honest the 17 rear looks good but the tires a much lower profile the front looks right, I agree if I did it again I would do them all and 16

 

Coffins make the car look mean !!

I wanted to get a short run of cast, single-piece 16” coffin spoke wheels made (8” and 9”) but MOQ was 200 and at £300/wheel I only had about 6 people interested (10 sets) and didn’t have the space for the rest. I may be moving in the autumn and will have more space if I move so might start it up again. PM me if interested (any colour you want.)

 

For me the Comps without even a 2nd thought -

 

GTO look is cool. If I had my choice it would be 17 or even 18 inch version of the QV Campys

 

Andy, contact Mark (MkE) as he can get you 17” forged wheels in the original 5-spoke design

the Comp wheels are nice - but the center cap in my opinion ruins it all. the shield is not right. if you could go all chrome - like the GTO with a prancing horse then it would be ok, or just plain silver. the coffin spokes in gold are great-looking wheels. that would be my choice

It would look way better with a Silver moose vs. Yellow & Black.

 

I think this is entirely subjective on if your car has a theme. as you can see the compmotive 17" is on a lowered street cruiser. The Coffin looks great on the more rally / Group 4/5 inspired car.

I would say anything with deeper dish or concave look is better. Stay period correct.

 

17” and up any style wheel makes the 308 look like an East LA Donk.
