Hello all, I read somewhere that "Marine" Sta-bil is "better" than the usual formulation as it's a smaller amount added to the tank and it's more effective in negating the effects of ethanol in gasoline. Does anyone have any experience with this formulation? I cannot find anything in the search tab. Thanks in advance.

Do you put in the oxygenated or non oxygenated gas?

    This is what I found.

What are the Differences Among STA-BIL Products | Gold Eagle Co

The fuel stabilizer is for long term storage of fuel in the tank. As you add fuel to drive you would add their protection product 360. The marine 360 has more anti-corrosion and rust inhibitors. Is is safe up to 3x potency. The protection product is short term or 12 months. From what I have read you can use both products at once.

Aviation gas is ethanol free and 100+ octane. Very expensive and not available at airport gas stations here unless you can provide a tail number.

Aviation fuel ie. 100LL also has tetraethyl lead in it which is harmful to the cats if you are running them.
