You really think that everyone here is a millennial who's all knowledge comes from Google? If i don't remember his Peugeot days, i sure do his Ferrari ones. Never mind, wheel argument just beated all of my arguments. Enjoy.
I do think Horner is responsible for RBR's success. He put the whole team together, along with Helmut Marko. And as team principal he's also responsible for the strategy team. Their current head for Strategy Hannah Schmidt joined Red Bull as an intern when she was still studying in 2009. Of course she's brilliant in her own right but Horner/Marko created the right environment for her to get where she is. They created that environment for her and many others. RBR's biggest reason for not challenging until 2021 was down to the engine. When they got the Honda engine it became a huge step in the right direction as with Honda essentially they became a factory team. Ferrari with their sacking culture since Todt/Brawn left doesn't have structure. No need to sack Binotto. Let him do what he's good at. I read the other day that he put serious pressure on the Ferrari Brass saying that he needed a promotion or he'd leave. Clearly he's lacking skills but he was at Ferrari for what, 25 years at this point already? Let him go do what he's good at and hire a deputy. In a way I think Marko is doing just that at Red Bull. He's the advisor alongside Horner.
Let's face it, today demonstrated that hiring a mediocre strategist would be an improvement upon the current situation. All the best, Andrew.
The problem is that this isn't an isolated incident, so it doesn't really fall under the "anything goes wrong" umbrella. It is a pattern of behavior. I think Ferrari's brass needs to replace multiple strategists, perhaps with some who have racing experience, because my perception is that they're a bunch of eggheads who have a very myopic view of unfolding races.

OK, let's base the team in Australia I'll throw Chuck out and put Piastri in with Dan PS don't let my name fool you, I'm Aussie all the way to my bootlaces
Astralians cant make Tagliatelle Bolognese or lenticchie con il cotechino So the location wont work for the team. Dan is a great guy, but not really cutting it as of late.
The entire strategy department needs to be purged The problem lies at the core They need new, not necessarily young, minds that think far outside the marenallo box Minds that can disseminate information instantaneously and be flexible
The drivers need time off to clear their heads, a bit like us. But, if the lights are turned off in Maranello for a month, none of us will be happy come Spa.
Remember this? Again, everyone could have predicted how well this comment would age. Almost as well as the prediction of a 1-2 finish at Hungary. Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
Like most here I am no expert and only have the data being broadcast by Sky, yet we all seem to agree on the same correct strategy calls to be made at the appropriate time. How on earth can the pit wall with all the data at their fingertips just simply f it up every time. Is it because they have too much data? Maybe relegate them to the coffee room to watch the race like we do and they can radio in when to pit and what tyres to use .They may very well get it right most of the time and then wonder why they needed so much data only to realise that the date overwhelmed them. Second option, I am more than happy to volunteer for the job, Scuderia just pays my flights, accommodation, food and provides an SF90 for transport and also unlimited track time at Maranello. As for Binotto's comment good for Mercedes to be competitive, fing hell if the Scuderia want to win they need no team to be competitive they then may have a chance of winning. The car and drivers are there management and strategists unfortunately are out smoking magic mushrooms.
