Finally, my F8 is here!!!

    The is my second Ferrari, but the first one I was able to configure myself! I placed the deposit back in July of 2021 and after a long wait, finally picked it up over the weekend! Similar to my first Ferrari (488 GTB), I went with Rosso Corsa for the exterior, but I wanted to change it up for the interior. Since this was my opportunity to configure it however I wanted, I wanted to do something different that definitely looked "custom" but not too polarizing. I also wanted a lot of Alcantara so I went with a Blu Medio interior with white Bianco accents to make it pop. Some of the more unique configurations for a F8 are the Blu Medio Alcantara steering wheel and Blu Medio leather palm rest. I wasn't sure if it was going to be too much blue, but it looks amazing in person! Because it's a darker blue, it can look closer to black at night but then really brighten up during the day. Couldn't be happier!

    Beautiful and congratulations! I've owned 4 Ferraris- currently two- but never had the experience or specing one out and being the first owner- Must be amazing! Happy for you and your spec is awesome- Enjoy :cool::cool:

    I've only driven the F8 for a day, but it definitely felt more nimble and responsive compared to the 488. I read that the exhaust note is disappointing on the F8 so I had asked the dealer to permanently open up the valves like I had done on the 488. Unfortunately, they said that it wasn't possible on the F8 due to the new GPF. However, when I punched it, it was plenty loud and didn't take away from the joy and thrill of driving a Ferrari. The steering wheel is skinnier which feels a bit odd, but I like the updated rev limiter lights at the top. The updated AC controls are nice since they look more modern and the car overall looks lower, even though it's stock. The 488 was a great car, but the F8 definitely feels a step above in terms of overall sensory excitement!

    Congratulations! Beautiful car and you will love the F8; I also stepped up from 488.

    Don't worry about the exhaust note or what people write; the more you drive it, the better it sounds!

    I find my 488 steering wheel too thick, was wondering if I was the only one. so nice to hear that I guess I am not..

    The interior really Looks great, Id consider doing the calipers in blue and doing the shields and badges in Carbon as the yellow seems a little out of place with the very cool blue and white interior?

    glad the f8 continues to roll out - crossing my fingers my f8 spider comes in 2023. my pal ordered the hardtop after me and got it already - im told mine is 6-9 months out - so 1 year behind my friend. waiting is part of the fun i think...?

    Yeah it's tough. I had to mentally forget about it so I didn't drive myself crazy. It took forever even after it arrived at the port!

    Looks GREAT, I love Blu Medio alcantara, it looks amazing in person. I went all Blue Medio on my Roma interior. Enjoy the car, worth waiting for.

    Ferrari had pretty much been focused on the Tributo since the final “clear the books” allocations late 2021 were pushed out. There doesn’t seem to have been a spider allocation since 2021 or very early 2022. But who knows what’s in store for deposit holders… soon(tm)? Maybe? Fingers crossed for you good sir!
