Sorry I just don’t have the specs. Will give you tyre size when I get the car back later this week. It’s in for a service, minor thankfully!
Lotus did it with the V8 esprit starting in the mid 90s. I think it looks weird in most instances. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
I'm in no danger of buying those wheels I assume you but some people like that type of look. Ronal had a similar type thing that was all the rage a ways back. If anything it shows 19" which I don't think look bad which this post is about. I'd take 19's over 17's myself.
Is it really necessary in a thread about a largely subjective and aesthetic mod to reply with things like.. “you might not like, but some people do” “you can do what you like to your own car” “there’s no accounting for taste” etc, etc. yeah, we know.
Is it really necessary in a thread that is sbjective to respond as to how others should respond? You have a point though. Thanks. Sent from my SM-G990U using FerrariChat.com mobile app
How did I miss this comedy thread for the past couple of years? Maybe because it died of embarrassment for a decade?
Haters hate, leave them to it. There are many camps of car enthusiasts. - The true to OEM and nothing else will do, pinnacle being concourse crew. - The Driver, really doesn’t care about anything else other than what the car was design for. - The Tuner, constantly seeking power and big power at that. - The Customiser, making a mark with their own style, not always getting it right. - The Dreamer, full of opinions but doesn’t actually own the car. the list goes on…
very true but there are still dreamers that build kit cars, this one is a high end dreamer Image Unavailable, Please Login
Factory is 18" So just one size up and a little less tire wall. The stepped lip has a bit of an illusion of a bigger rim, at least it does for me.
They’re 19”, tyres are the original width. The wheels are a little wider. But don’t know spec as I bought them from someone who had them built/made. Fit perfectly.
It is not really helpfull. Original width? But what height? Are they 225/35/19 and 265/35/19? Or something else? I agree with you: they fit perfectly. That's why it would be interesting to know size and offset. I can't believe there is no specs engraved inside the wheels.
Car is not with me at the moment so cannot check tyre sizes. Will do when I can check. I know Rotiform put the details on the rim where the tyre is. Unfortunately not going to be taking the tyres off any time soon.
I understand that Let us know the width of your wheels and tires size when you be able to. The fitting of the wheels on your car is spot on, so any infos is welcome.
Very modern version of a classic wheel. Interesting: Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I'veen having thoughts about some of the NTM Coffin Spoke wheels (yeah, of the 308/Lancia/Alfa origin) on the 355. Can't find any pics, though, but think it might just be a nice semi-vintage twist on the classic near-vintage shape of the F355.
Image makes that style. I’m sure many others do too. https://www.imagewheels.co.uk/cb81-alloy-wheel/ Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
