Bonjour à tous, Je me présente je m'appelle Bruno je suis français et l'heureux propriétaire d'une McLaren 570s Orange Volcano depuis 1 an Image Unavailable, Please Login
I see you had a Testarossa! I had a 1986 flying mirror back in the 80's what a car (but cost me $$$ on repairs seemed like everything required the engine to be pulled!) So I only have 100 miles on the 600LT, I wanted a more track focused, limited (per se), raw and pure toy. The 458 sound with my Capristo was awesome and great low end screaming around town. The 600 is like a go cart, seating low, stiff and quick response wise. Tranny seems quick but I'm in break in mode right now. I do plan to join my friends at Thermal a local track under strict rules and conduct. My boy racer days are well in my rear view mirror but I would like to sample what the car can do within reason. The Senna seats were a must for me because they are unique. However getting in and out with a fused back in rather interesting...once in they are not bad. The 600 will be a toy, cars and coffee ride, canyon rides with my son and buddies but we won't be going to Santa Barbara or San Diego in it. Focused car, as I told the dealer it reminds me of the Lambo Superlegera back in 2006 as far as focus. I will post more once I break her in. Go drive one definitely different than the 458, but both are awesome in different ways.
'Quick' little drive up S Mountain. Great road to practice on...... as long as there aren't too many SUVs, Prius', Kias, bikes...... Love those 'Track Pack' seats! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Yes, I had an 1988 Testarossa, two-mirror. I agree, lots of maintenance. I did the engine-out myself, replaced everything I could think of, but it had to come out again due to a gasket problem. The dealer did offer me a ride, but I resisted because I am sure I will fall in love with it immediately. The one I looked at last week is gone already, and since the production run will be ending, I guess I have to either make up my mind right away, or find a used one, or wait until a successor comes out.
Another TR guy. I had one for 10 years..... '87, black/tan. Did my own majors as well. Image Unavailable, Please Login

It's a shame that there were cars in front of you as that looks like a road worthy of 'spanking'! Nothing like McLaren Orange! Image Unavailable, Please Login
