Yes it was in Canada With such transaction, I keep always discretion on the terms and sale price, sorry... But this is my 3rd Silhouette sold and by far the most expensive one, due to #40.002 historical profile... probably a world record ! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I’m looking to find a vender for this dash vent located under the steering wheel. Any leads would be appreciated! Image Unavailable, Please Login
Richard is too modest to mention it, but 40052 won the 'Sensational Seventies' category at the Salon Prive concours last week at Blenheim Palace. Well done! Jonathan Image Unavailable, Please Login
A few snaps from Slaon Prive' of of Richard's car and I think Ivor's also. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Hi all, I’m the owner of 40078,this thread is great, thanks a lot for the effort made. I have also a p200 and a p 250. Drove the silhouette a couple of times in the 7 years I own it but we regularly warm the engine the odometer is still at 9700 km. The car had a very ugly federalized back bumper which I removed. I’m hoping one day to find the correct factory bumper and install it on it. It said on the registry that the color was originally argento, is it a confirmed information? And finally why is it called the flying bumper car. Thanks a lot.
Factory builtsheet : Telaio-VIN #40.078 Colore : Argento / Nero Consegna : 19/05/1978 Concessionaro : SEA Auto - Roma / Italia
Happy to welcome another owner in this thread. #40078 was indeed argento when new and was repainted red in the eighties. I've seen some pictures of the car when it was still silver.
Hi Charbel, Good to have you in the Silhouette Tread. I'm the owner of another red Silhouette. I will have the correct rear bumpers for your car, but how to get them in Lebanon? That is the question. BR Martin
Hi Martin, That will be great, Where are you located? . I have a container shipping from Germany to Lebanon in the next couple of weeks. Or my son is in France, I can deliver to him and he can bring them with him. Let me know the details.

Hello Charbel That’s wonderful car you have. It’s call “Floating bumper car”, because the bumpers aren’t mounted on the bodywork like the normal do but are on the struts instead. you have any pics of your two urraco’s to share as well? Wondering what color they are. best regards.HF
I have them parked next to each other’s in my garage, will get some photos and publish it in the next few days. The p200 I don’t know the original color of the car, both runs very fine but not being exercised regularly. Very nice ladies. But the 250 in argento I have a lot of history on it.
The 250, I have plans to use it regularly, very nice car, needs some adjustments on the firing. I guess it very hard to regulate the firing on the those cars. Just to have a nice Smooth engine sound.
Hi Chabel, I'm from The Netherlands, so logistically it must be no issue. I will make some pictures of the bumpers the coming week. I also own a P300 this one was the only one new delivered in The Netherlands. BR Martin Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Nice green color, I like those funky unusual colors more than the regular these days colors. Love that green. In Lebanon there is one green one but without an engine. These are the only ones existing here. I will try to get a photo of the green urraco for the forum record
If you disclose the VIN of the P200 and the P250, several people here could tell you the original colours. You have very nice cars!
