    Logical in the end.
Most efficient are a lot more efficient right now because of the budget cap.
No budget cap : Mercedes spent a lot of money and were dominant.
Ferrari because of their incompetence spent a lot of money to be second at best.
Red Bull learned to be competitive with the unreliable and weak Renault.
Budget cap : Mercedes is second at best
    Ferrari 4 at best
Red Bull ultra efficient and ultra dominant.

Last year, McLaren and Alpine were fighting for the 4th and 5th spot. This year, it's for the 5th and 6th place.
Who gained a lot ? Aston Martin, from second to last above Williams, they are now 2nd in the ranking.

It's normal that teams go up and down one position, but the middle class, although still middle class in the championship standings, is not closer to the front.

The racing might be a bit closer this year, we've had qualifying sessions with the entire field just barely a second apart, the Miami race might be track specific, but all 20 cars finished, 18 of them on the same lap at the end.

Yes, it's no fluke. How long will it last is the big question.

I see another year given the budget so 2024 is I think most likely RedBull. 2025 is a bit more of a question but the teams then focus on new regulation/PU's. So it does go well in theory for RedBull to have 3 more years cautiously!

Horner seems confused about it all with this headline lol :)

    It's obviously a joke.

You mean to tell me the track has the opposite pole to attract the other pole of the car thereby by sucking it to the ground?

    Laughable.

Those are skid plates(circle area in the pic) mandated by the FIA.

He's their 3rd ex-Red Bull in a row and with the previous two they didn't get much better. I don't know, maybe they should try something different.

The problem right now is that Enrico Cardile wants the technical director job if it's up for grabs. If he gets passed over for an outsider, he'll almost certainly resign from Ferrari, and that will set back development. It's likely Ferrari are waiting to see how the summer development goes on the SF-23 before they decide how they'll go about filing the role of technical director. If the SF-23 improves, they'll likely give it Cardile. If the car continues to be a turd, they'll look outside, and tell him to resign if he doesn't like it.

People also need to forget the idea of any high profile English designers coming to Ferrari to fill senior positions. They're not going to move to Italy and take that risk, and Ferrari certainly aren't going to fill senior roles with low rank engineers and designers. Instead, they'll look to places outside of England for senior positions, while leaving the door open should anyone in the UK open up.

Ross Brawn was an exception to the rule of British engineers at Ferrari working out.

He was the exception because he demanded to have full control over everyone. Having 2-3 bosses isn't going to work out for them.
