Will Corbani Dino set the new top record or drop as recent trend down?

How is it trending is the correct question--it is trending down. I actually buy cars in this sector, thank you.

03656 was a “Sold” Dino at Gooding - Lot 007 for $380k but the buyer did not perform.

It hit BAT two weeks ago, and after some interesting comments, it sold

    $519,246

What an amazing difference several weeks can make

Shawn, is it the BaT syndrome, all the great comments, armchair people invisibly patting you on the back...

Most beautiful Ferrari, "such a great buy", and "you stole it" bla bla.

At Gooding's, you may get a lonely clap...

    Regards, Alberto

Back when I owned two Dinos, whenever anyone asked why I had bought two, I always replied: "That's easy to explain. I can't afford three!" Fred

This car is a clone to my 73 GT. Same color and even matching to the campagnolo wheels with Dino center caps and a Euro model. Maybe I need a twin!

One of the coolest and not well known Dino transactions just occurred.

In private ownership for almost 50 years. The story is about to be told….

Be prepared to be pleasantly surprised. It should be announced in the next day or so….

After a short period of time with no Dino auctions, BAT is locked and loaded to keep us entertained for the next couple months on Dino’s...

As it was explained to me, BAT controls the reserve. You either agree with their reserve, or you don't list the car. On eBay, you can list the car for whatever you want, for as long as you want, and wait to see if you get an offer. BAT auctions seem to be flat, across the board - including Dinos. Perhaps they're requiring low reserves. That said, I hadn't been watching eBay and didn't notice the shift.

...Or No Reserve....I once bought a car on BaT, fortunately for me, and on a whimsy, I bid on it, and no one else did.

VERY lucky me. The poor gentleman that had it for sale was hoping for an additional 40% result.

The car is / was spectacular, and he listed it at No Reserve, BIG /Huge mistake.

BaT convinced him that it was the way to go, and he got the shaft.
The owner, when I spoke with him, was almost in tears. He had rebuild the whole car, and lost big.

Me, I felt bad for the poor guy when he asked me if I would pay him an extra $125 (a dealer). I did.

There are always caveats, and I would always prefer a private deal. I would never buy a car of such caliber on E-bay unless a Pinto, Pacer or Vega.
Selling a Dino? Advertise it here, we all know +/- who everyone is.

Of course the old Ebay trick, are you on F-chat? Then you got free adverts, and deal under the table.
    Happens all day long.

    Regards, Alberto
