Now it‘s 14 years ago that i hunted it. In Oktober 2009 i found it. On Dec 25th 2009 i finally bought it. Shipped it, i paid taxes on it, repaired it, washed it, polished it, drove it (through nearly all Europe), relied on it, care for it, and all the time - love it………! Now i let it go. Right now my blue „John Corbani Dino“ is on it´s way to LA. My friend Matthias Bartz rated it, Bill Noon from Symbolic International is taking care for selling it. For everyone who is curious, look out for it in the beginning of November... ️ Fast Greetings from Germany Ralf
Iconic car, iconic owner.... Ya'll will have to retrieve my 308GTB from some sketchy circumstances. it's in th edriveway now, but I have innings left to play!!
Hello Mario, no worry! If there is any interest in the history of my „John’s Dino“, i will start posting it very shortly. I have to become a little bit more familiar with handling this media. As you see, the post yesterday was my first one! By the way, can you explain how i can attach a picture or a video clip? Thank‘s for your interest and your your help.️ Fast greetings from Germany, Ralf
Hey Shawn, it was a pleasure to meet you there. I ´ll be in San Diego on the 19th and 20th of November at Bill´s Place, to hand over the complete Paperwork’s of my Dino. May be you ´ll find the time to meet the Dino….. and me there⁉️ ️fast greetings Ralf
Hello Sergio, thank you for sharing this great video clip! Yes it‘s me. Sorry for the dirty wheels! ……but the day before i drove from Düsseldorf to Maranello. After a smooth ride through Switzerland, crossing the San Gottardo and the arrival in the afternoon in Maranello i still had to pick up my Wife at the Bolgna airport (she preferred Lufthansa this time…). At this evening we were more happy to have dinner with Matthias and some other friends, instead of cleaning the wheels. Most important fact: zero issues with the Dino. Fast greetings, Ralf
Mario, to start, read “Corbani’s Corner” which is a permanent sticky: https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/forums/corbanis-corner.189/
Hi Ralf! I am Greg from tiafo garage! Per the comments, this Dino may be the highest mile Ferrari in existence! I am also familiar with Bill Noon from his other offerings on Bring a Trailer. HE seems to be a great guy and extremely knowledgable. Great choice! This will be great fun to watch and be a part of! Here is the tiafo Garage video (one of our first ones- I drove the Porsche not the Dino that day). See Ralf’s comments on mileage!
Hello Greg, it´s really a great youtube channel you produce. You are right. I seems to be…..For me it doesn’t matter how many miles are on the clock. More important, i think you agree, is how you care of it. Like BOING, their Aircrafts live 25 years and longer and are able to work 75.000 hours and more reliably. How many Miles does your Dino got on the odometer?
Ralf, I completely agree on miles! I think the market way-over values the mileage on cars. In fact the ultra—low miles “collectibles” are nearly useless as cars because you can’t drive them without worrying about depreciation! It so happens my Dino is a fairly low 39,000 miles but I just drive it whenever I feel like it without any regard to putting miles on it. I almost think it’s better for it to regularly run if anything! and thanks for the complement on tiafo garage- it is definitely a work in progress and I enjoy it. funny- your garage looks (looked) a lot like mine in terms of the cars in there! Except yours is a lot nicer and bigger! What year and model is your lovely longhood? Image Unavailable, Please Login
Reading helps , when i read it it was clear that i have to buy this Dino. And, when i find a bit more time, you will have a little more to read…. cheers from Germany
Hello Greg, my 911 is a T from 73. I found it by chance in Februar 2005 in Phoenix AZ as a single familowned car.
