Can you post the bin you read off of this chip? I would really like to compare the full reads.

I will post a full read I have by obd later when I get home.

If you are not sure about sharing your file here maybe you can use the file I post and compare it to your read and see if they contain data in the same addresses ?

Is this a 474 DME or a Ferrari one?

By “pictures”, do you mean photos or something more technical?

    Thanks, at least thats something.

That is no performance chip and that is not the immobilizer chip.

The only thing that confirms is that the ferrari DME uses the older style components. (Resistors) and the 30117 Knock Sensor IC is the older stock on this DME just like the V12 BMW DME.

The BMW V8 DME uses the 30301 Knock Sensor IC.

The K-Line ic on the BMW v8 is 30309

The DME pictured uses the 30310 K-Line IC

Ok. Thanks. I was just relying on what someone else had said or what I had seen online.

e.g. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/143360389/ (I found the source of the photo)

I guess @gobble would know for sure.

Bumping this in case anyone has an update on reading and writing the 355 (5.2) ecu?

It's been said above that galetto only gives a partial read... is this a problem? i.e. when tuning, you're only really editing a few bits normally, so maybe the part that it can read contains all the important stuff you might want to tweak? In my case I want to switch it from F1 to manual.
