Nope because most of us aren't modifying our Ferraris.;)

Maybe you should ask those that aren't , your quote

" This isn't for the uptight jabronies who think a new battery is a mod ".

Maybe they can answer you ? Just saying.

Yes. I have tried to apply some silver adhesive heat shielding to keep the temps down. It is a fiberglass part and it worries me that it will eventually become cracked, paint peeling etc. with the heat exposure from the big muffler cans underneath it. 458 Spider

Thanks. Yeah I've read that about the 458s. I wasn't sure if people were experiencing it with the 488s.

It's not something I really paid attention to before so I was just curious.

In your tune, did you ask Mase for burps on deceleration and flames?

If so, that could drive up the rear exhaust temperature. The extra unburnt fuel is burning late in the exhaust and possibly increasing the temperatures.

Decreasing back pressure actually should make the whole system run cooler…. For the folks against mods.;)

I did ask for some "burps". I got a little more than I asked for though, lol.

That's the only thing I can think of though, since an open exhaust should run much cooler than one that's restricted.
