You know one of those things that bugs you every time you look at it? This was mine. When I bought the car it was missing on cap for the rearview mirror. I thought "no big deal". Well, they are difficult to find and I just kept forgetting. Then I found another thread where Fchat member Dinoart made some using 3D printing.

Today I snapped the missing one on and it felt sooooooooooooooooooooo good. He has them with both the embossed letter and no lettering. I had one on my driver's side mirror as reference so I got the embossed style.

Here you can see the before and after. One click and problem solved! (Well, almost. Got to get a little black touch up paint). Still looks 1000% better than the cap missing.

    Thanks Dinoart!

Went to the BaT Meet-Up in PDX this morning….not many Ferraris, but thousands of Porsches and BMWs it seemed….along with about one of every interesting car ever sold in the US that you could name. I took the GTS QV and saw a 328 GTB, a 360, a 430, a 458, a 488/F8 (I can never keep those two straight), and the star of the show, an Enzo.
Just as I was leaving, a Blanco/Red ‘77 GTB arrived and I got to chat with the owner for a few minutes. Hopefully we’ll see him on the forums in the near future.
My favorites included this minuscule OTAS Coupe and an LS-swapped Series 3 Quattroporte.

I turned on the headlights then disconnected the battery so they'd stay up.
Then I removed the fronts of the raised headlights.
I removed the US bumper and grille.
Those 5mph shocks were a pain to remove.
Then I fitted my parking lights to the Euro bumper.
After modifying the brackets, I installed the new bumper, then the Euro grille.
Finally, I painted the outer screws on the grille flat black.
All in all, it was pretty easy and a good deal of fun!
I really like the Euro look much better.

I fitted this - the Superformance front brake upgrade (which I note are made by Hispec), and then took them for a test drive. Braking is a significant improvement over standard and there is a big weight saving too (not measured, but the difference is quite obvious).

Conscious this has been done before, just thought a more up to date post might be of use.

Any tricks or gotchas to the Superperformance brake upgrade? I'd like to add these to my 308.

They don’t come with installation instructions! A quick google shows that a similar set up by the same manufacturer has been fitted to other cars, and so there is plenty of info out there, and I suspect those with more wrench experience than me wouldn’t need that.

Also, I wasn’t expecting the ‘SUPERFORMANCE’ script in white letters across them, but that is growing on me.

Other than that, they are a simple bolt on installation (plus brake bleed) with a big difference in terms of initial bite and stopping power.

The price compared to bigger name alternatives is pretty reasonable too. I am really pleased with them, and thinking about getting the rear set now.

Low ceiling and on the sides is my problem that's why I went with this lift I had a set of quick jacks which worked but set up was a hassle so I figured move up to this one

I still have some setting up to do nothing big just contact the lines bleed it out and position it the right spot the power unit is 120ac I might upgrade to 220ac I have to see about that

I don't want to say can not wait to use it because that means the cars is down for repairs which this time of year sucks lol

For the first time since 2007 (!) this car moved under its own power. I've been refreshing the mechanical systems since March 2023. Still a lot of tuning / adjusting to be done but this feels like a milestone. It would not have been possible without the help of some excellent people on this forum - Thank you!

Coming up on the end of a very long repaint, and had to do some maintenance on fuel system after it sat for so long. New fuel pump and lines plus rebuilt carbs while I was at it. Hopefully back on the road next week. Doors are getting final color blocking and polish this weekend, with final reassembly next week. Oh yeah, new front windscreen too. No more 46 y/o pitted glass!

Got my car back from upholstery and started on a few projects. The seats were done prior to me buying it, but I had them do the headrests (only part that wasn’t done), carpet, headliner, and door panels. Extremely happy with the results.

I bought a spare set of side louvers and did a GTB look and also painted my front grilles body color. I think it looks better than black.

Next up will be to finish the Euro bumper conversion, add the new Spal fans, upgrade the fuse box, and install a stereo that I’ll never listen to. Both the fans and fuse box are upgrades by members here. Last item is new custom designed wheels later next month!

    cheers

Just got done with the Spal fan upgrade. Man, they really do make a difference. My AC condenser is missing, so I pushed them forward against the radiator and installed all the foam around the sides and top under the hood. 90s here in TX and I wasn’t freaking out at the stop lights. A great and easy upgrade.

I also installed tte missing lower dash vents and added a radio. Haven’t wired it yet as I’m going to install the new fuse boxes next week and then I’ll finish up the radio installation. Very happy with things so far!

For the record, that axle flange was that bent...I didn't do that.

I put a Fabspeed sport cat on my 328. Since I owned it, the car had been making an unpleasant resonance at idle not unlike the wump wump when driving with a window open. I pulled off the OEM cat and found that it was hollow. The PO had taken the guts out. It also explains the cabin fumes at stoplights. The improvement is significant. Much smoother sounding at idle and a nice higher pitched gurgle when I lift off the throttle. And no fumes!

I recently installed the same exhaust on my 328 along with a "test pipe". Definitely improved sound, but not obnoxious. And surprisingly, no drone.
